About Us
Rocky's Rescue, Inc. was founded on March 9, 2026 and is an all-volunteer foster based rescue which is dedicated to providing food and medical treatment (including, but not limited to TNVR: trap, neuter, vaccinate and release) for cats living in community settings.
Activities include:

Fundraising for food and medical treatment for homeless cats in the Belleville and North Newark NJ communities

Recruitment of volunteers and fosters to serve as cat colony caretakers and cat fosters

Educational outreach to the community to increase awareness and understanding of the unique plight of cats living in community settings

Collaboration with cat rescue organizations to help get friendly cats (often abandoned, formerly domesticated pets) off the streets, placing them into loving homes.

Our aim is to create a more compassionate and understanding community where each cat is an individual that should live in peace and with dignity for the duration of their lives. Our motto has always been and will continue to be - No Cats Left Behind.
